Where to start? Austin and Kim are one of those couples you know were definitely made for each other. You could feel their love and respect they each held for the other. From the way Austin would glance at Kim. To how Kim would softly look at him. How they were able to make each other laugh and their hands automatically reached for each other. It was magical getting to share in their wedding day and not only witness the love they had for each other but the love that surrounded them from their friends and family.
I had an amazing time photographing their wedding day. Not only have I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session but I have also done two other weddings for Kim’s family. It’s such an honour to be able to share in multiple special occasions with this family that I adore.
Kim spent the morning with her bridesmaids getting ready at the Retro Suites Hotel in Downtown Chatham. Austin met up with us for their first reveal in the lobby. He spent the morning with his Groomsmen at the Holiday Inn in Chatham.  Another fine location to get ready in.
After their first reveal we spent some time taking pictures of the two of them. With the weather calling for rain all day we wanted to take advantage of the dry weather while we could. It did start to rain as we were finishing up and about to head to their Church in Blenheim.
Austin and Kim were married at the Blenheim Christian Reform Church.  Not only is it a special Church to Kim but Austin’s own Father officiated the wedding.
Austin and Kim had their wedding reception in one of Chatham’s newest venues. I have had the pleasure of photographing a handful of weddings at the Kent 1874.  It is a stunning Church that has now been turned into a happening venue.
