Where do I even begin with Brett & Gena’s blogpost? These two are an amazing couple surrounded by just as amazing friends and family.  The best part is how thankful they are to have them around. All throughout their wedding day they kept saying how lucky they were to have the friends and family they do.
The two of them made me feel like one of their group. We shared laughs throughout the day and they even trusted me to take them outside for some chilly pictures. (They did decide to get married in January as well as take their engagement pictures last January. You can check out their engagement session here. )
Brett and his gang spent the morning at Blazin BBQ Ribhouse.  It was a great location for them to play some golf and have some snacks before getting ready. The girls had a quiet morning at the Retro Suites here in Chatham.  They were able to spend a fun night together before the morning prep. The hairdressers and makeup artist came right to the hotel to get the girls ready. It was my first time working with Brettlie’s Beauty Room and I was impressed. Not only did she do a fantastic job on the girls wedding make-up but she also kept to the schedule.
Once the Purple Pansy Flower Boutique dropped off the bouquets things began to feel real. Gena was getting really excited to see Brett for their first reveal. They wanted a quiet first reveal with just the two of them. It was beautiful and as Brett would say a little cold out. 😉
Brett and Gena opted to do all of their formal pictures before the sunset ceremony. We stuck around the Retro Suites for their wedding pictures.
They held their ceremony at the gorgeous Links of Kent Golf Course. This was a great location that allowed them to have the ceremony in one room and the reception in another. There was no wait for guest between events and was a seamless transition.
Just Grin Productions provided the entertainment and photobooth for the night. They know how to get a dance floor hopping.
