Fern is one of those ladies you just want to get to know and be around. She has an infectious laugh, big smile and caring heart. Our paths crossed many moons ago when I was in college and again when I started working after having my daughter. Clearly I was meant to know this wonderful strong spirit of a lady.
Fern has three amazing and unique daughters. Danielle is creative and spirited and oh so talented. She could do a much better job than I at expressing herself and writing my blog for me. I admire her determination and stepping out of her comfort zone to now teach yoga. She loves Anne of Green Gables (who I am also fond of). Naturally that makes her my kindred spirit and bosom friend. (Anne reference) Julie is a driven young lady. She has worked her buns off to get to where she is. I admire Julie for her caring heart and warm spirit. Sweet little Ella is growing up quickly. She is a mix of her two sisters but yet her own spunky person. Every year I get to photograph her I marvel at her beauty as she grows into a young lady but also her sense to humour. She is able to make me laugh at every single session. When you have the four of these ladies together the connection is obvious and I always leave wishing I had a sister…or two or three….
This year I had the pleasure of meeting Ferns sister for their photo shoot. Now I have one more lady to admire. Her outer beauty is matched by her inner. To see her smile and her eyes twinkle as she looked at her nieces left me feeling warm and fuzzy.
Fern you are so lucky to have these amazing girls in your life and I am so thankful through you I have gotten the pleasure of knowing them.
