I tell ya, the last month has gone by in a blur. If you know a photographer please give them a hug because fall is a little crazy for them. By hug, I mean virtual of course because…COVID.
Sam and Mat had to pivot to make their wedding day dreams come true. Like so many couples this year things haven’t gone quite the way they imagined. I love how they re-imagined their wedding to be an intimate affair in their backyard.
Samantha spent the morning with her girls prepping at the fabulous Retro Suites Hotel. Samantha is so talented and did her own make-up for her wedding day as well as for her engagement session. You can look back on those photos here. I was really impressed. When the flowers were delivered from the Purple Pansy things really started to feel real.
Mat & Samantha had a prefect backdrop for their wedding. Who wouldn’t love a barn for their ceremony? I personally loved it. The rest of the pictures were just a walk down to a local park. It wasn’t long before we were back home for a steak BBQ. They both had the most amazing attitudes about the whole thing.  I truly had a lot of fun capturing this special day with their special people (and fur babies). Small, intimate weddings are where its at.
Let me share some of my favourite images from their wedding day. Special Thanks to Steven Taylor for second shooting for me that day.
