April is a fellow photographer and also my best friend. It’s only natural that we trade photography sessions each year. When we are together it is like two siblings. We bicker, we laugh we have silent conversations in our heads that only the two of us get. I have known her for half my life!  Only recently did I realize she is the only person I talk to on the phone with. I love her and her family like they are my own, and it truly feels like they are family.
Her son Joey is slightly older than my son. Joey has taken my son under his wing and plays so nicely with him.  Joey is such a good kid. He is clever and funny coming up with great nicknames for us. (Uncle bath Mat for my husband)
Her husband and my husband have similar interest as well as opening each other up to new experiences. They both can learn from each other. My husband showing Joe the ‘geeker’ side. We will make gamers out of them yet!
