Ryan & Amy got married this Fall. If you recall we had a very wet Autumn. It seemed as though it rained every single Saturday. This one was no different. They do say it is lucky to have rain on your wedding day. Ryan and Amy had to move their outdoor ceremony indoors. Thankfully the Sydenham Curling Club was where their reception was to be held and offered the perfect indoor location for their wedding ceremony.  James Mac Neil was their wedding officiant. He always provides warm advice with a touch of humour. Perfect for Ryan and Amy who love to laugh with each other.
The rain didn’t dampen their spirits. We actually had luck when the rain broke and we were able to head outside for some of their wedding pictures.  We quickly dashed off to Brander Park in Port Lambton.  It’s a gorgeous location for pictures. I love the willow tress and large pond.
Amy and Ryan treated their guests to a lovely Thanksgiving meal with turkey and stuffing. With some breif speeches it wasn’t long before the first dances took place and the party got started.
With the rain pouring down as I was leaving I knew I had to get one more picture. Ryan and Amy didn’t even hesitate when I asked them to join me out in the rain. I am so happy they did and we could capture a magical night shot.
Let me share some of my favourite images from their wedding day.
