I was able to meet up with Galen and Marianna last weekend for their engagement session. Until this point we had only met through facetime, texts and phone calls. I personally feel my awkwardness comes across a lot better in person. Marianna and Galen are not from Chatham but decided they would have their wedding at the unique Retro Suites Hotel.
I was concerned when their engagement photos were booked for a Sunday in November that it could make for a chilly session. We had a fantastically mild afternoon followed by a beautiful pink sunset. One of the most gorgeous sunsets I can recall.  We took their engagement pictures at Erieau, Ontario. It is one of my favourite locations to shoot pictures at.
Galen and Marianna have a great sense of humor. I feel like I spent the whole session laughing and joking with friends. We bonded over Harry Potter talk and Star Wars. We discussed our latest walking dead theories. Yes, it truly was an evening spent with friends. How lucky am I that I get to capture their upcoming wedding.
